A Plan is Being Prepared By the National Consultative Assembly to Boycott Baha’ism and

Confiscate the Property and Furniture of Baha’i Propagation Centers

The Telegraphed Petition of the Market Traders to His Majesty the King

Due to the passionate remarks of the famous preacher, Mr. Falsafi, against the widespread Baha’i activities in recent days, an unprecedented action has begun in parliament to boycott the Baha’i faith and to confiscate the property and furniture of their propagation centres.

It is said that a plan has been prepared by some members of the National Consultative Assembly in this regard, which is being signed and will be submitted to the sessions of parliament. Yesterday, one of the members of parliament said, “The mentioned plan will be submitted as a matter of urgency; the Baha’i sect will be outlawed, and the government will be obliged to seize all its property and assets.”

According to our information, a list of the names of all the Baha’is will be prepared from the registers currently held by the law enforcement officers at the Haziratu’l-Quds. Soon the process of the copying these registration book [statistics] will begin.

Other news reveals that the clerical society has demanded that the original letter of repentance of Seyyed Ali Mohammad, the Bab, which was written in the presence of the scholars of Tabriz and is now preserved at the National Consultative Assembly, be photographed and distributed, and a careful investigation be carried out into the books and documents available in the Haziratu’l-Quds.

Demonstrations in Damghan

On Sunday evening, some residents of Damghan stormed the Baha’i homes [to drive] them out of the city; however, the law enforcement forces intervened and prevented the clash and adverse incidents.

What Will Happen to the Haziratu’l-Quds?

About the fate of the Haziratu’l-Quds, today, Mr. Falsafi said, “After much deliberation, the clergy and government officials have come to the conclusion that the Haziratu’l-Quds building should be demolished, because if this building remains, no matter which institution works there, the Baha’is will again use it as a “holy place” to propagate their religion.

Since Baha’is must be eliminated in this country, and, on the other hand, the style of the building, and the symbols and writings employed inside the Haziratu’l-Quds are Baha’i symbols, the destruction of Baha’i signs and relics and their remnants is inevitable.

After the demolition of the building, the land should remain in the hands of the government until a decision is made about it later.

It Will Be Protected

Today, Colonel Hariri, the guard officer of the Haziratu’l-Quds building, said, “We do our job with utmost care to protect and  maintain the mansion and the furniture until a decision is made about this building, and we will hand it over safely to the government officials”…

…. It was also said in the military governorate of Tehran that the number of signed letters and telegrams of thanksgiving by the Muslims, for the occupation of the Haziratu’l-Quds building is increasing every day.

The Telegram of the Merchants of the Market To the Presence of His Majesty the King

Dear Emperor! The merchants on Bouzarjomehri Street hereby express their gratitude to Your Excellency for issuing the order of the closure of the corrupt nest of the Baha’i sect, which is the will of all the Muslim people of Iran.

We ask the Almighty God to prolong Your Excellency’s life and reign over the hearts of the Muslims.

Now that, by the grace of God, Your Excellency has ordered the evacuation of the Haziratu’l-Quds from the perverted Baha’i sect, we ask Your Excellency to designate [it as a] place of teaching or worship, and also suppress and punish those who have acted treacherously against our religion and nation.
