Date: 17 Ordibehesht 1362 [7 May 1983]
Investigation Authority: Preliminary Commission for Restructuring of Human Resources of [Regional] Health Department of Mazandaran Province.
Type of charge: The shallow beliefs of the Baha’i sect. She is dismissed from employment according to [administrative] order number 20544 dated 1 Bahman 1359 [21 January 1981] of the Health Department of Ghaemshahr and in reliance on instruction number 7560, dated 10 Dey1359 [31 December 1980].
Procedural Synopsis : The file of allegations against Mr. Timur, surname: Samimi-Darzikalani, son of Ali, born in [redacted], birth certificate number [redacted], issued from [redacted], organizational title: Health Care Professional, work experience: 17 years, place of work: Ghaemshahr Health Network, the employee file number [redacted], rank 5, married, was reviewed by the Preliminary Commission. The Preliminary Commission, in its meeting of 17 Khordad 1362 [7 June 1983], after considering the evidence submitted, delivers its decision as follows:
“Decision of the Commission”
In light of the content of the file and the report of the investigation team ⎕ Considering the confession of the accused ⊠, defences of the accused ⎕ statements of the witnesses ⎕, expert reports ⎕ and statements of informed individuals ⎕ and -------- ⎕ and taking into consideration other conditions and circumstantial evidence available in this case, in the opinion of this Commission, the charge against the accused appears proven and evident, and the offence of the aforementioned corresponds with:
Clause 8 of Article 29 of the Human Resources Restructuring Act applicable to Government Ministries and affiliated Governmental Organizations, dated 5 Mehr  [27 September 1981], pursuant to Clause 11 of Article 20 of the aforementioned Act, [and therefore, the aforementioned] is sentenced to permanent dismissal from government services and organizations affiliated with the government.
This decision is appealable within 15 days from its service upon the accused at the Review Board.
Since the type of offence, according to the confession of the accused, is his belief in Baha’ism (membership in the perverse Baha’i sect, which has been considered outside of the Islamic religion), the type of offence is in accordance with Clause 8 of Article 29 and its punishment, based on Clause 11 of Article 20 of the Human Resources Restructuring Act, is hereby permanent dismissal from government services and organizations affiliated with the government.
