Respected Head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards of Iran

We are a few families from the religious minority and [we] reside in Hesar, Torbat-e Heydarieh. We would like to respectfully bring to your attention that, over the past eight months, we have been  assaulted and attacked by some local and non-local residents, who took a few of us to the Torbat-e Heydarieh and Bayg region, and after threatening, intimidating and beating us, without our having committed any wrong, forced us to renounce our religious beliefs. A few of us, observing this situation, escaped from that place overnight and wandered in the mountains and wilderness. Since then no one has investigated our situation [or attended to our case]. We have remained helpless to continue our hard work and sustain ourselves, and have no news of our homes, farms, spouses and children.

We are humbly saying that we are hard-working farmers and do not have any association with any political parties or groups. We are completely obedient to the government and are homesteaders of Imam Khomeini. We appeal to that respected authority to make arrangements, in whatever way you deem appropriate, so that we can return to our homes and no one will assail and object to our families and us.

We will pray for the Imam and the Islamic government.

With utmost respect
