Latest news from Iran:

On 3 Ordibehesht 1388 (23 April 2009), a clothing store owned by Mr. Siamak Ebrahiminia in Tonekabon was sealed. Mr. Ebrahiminia was imprisoned in early November 2008 following a warrant issued after his arrest in January 2007. Mr. Ebrahiminia, who was a member of Tonekabon’s “Khademin” at the time, was convicted of “propaganda activities for the perverse Baha’i sect” and sentenced to two years in exile in Zabol, Sistan and Baluchestan Province, in addition to prison. Mr. Ebrahiminia is currently out of prison. We do not know the date of his release or whether his exile has begun.
