The New Position of Major General Batmanghelich and the Recent Rumors Heard in this Regard

The progress and strengthening of Iran’s Defence Forces, which have been amongst our nation’s ancient desires, and the fulfilment of which necessitated some changes within the positions of some high-ranking army personnel, have occurred. Among them, Major General Batmanghelich has been appointed as Iran’s ambassador to Pakistan. His new position is very important and sensitive. It has been rumored that Batmanghelich’s change of position and his dispatch to a foreign mission were due to the activities of Baha’is; whereas, it is in fact [the opposite]. The Baha’i spies and groups do not have the power to dismiss or appoint the Iranian patriotic men, such as Batmanghelich. He is an honourable, Shah-loving army official and well-loved by most intellectuals and those who love the glory and honour of Iran.
