A telegram was received from a group of women in Sangsar. They complain that for some time their relatives have been put in prison on the basis of being Baha’is, and have requested an investigation.  It would be appropriate to first clarify what the situation has been, and second, if the arrest of these individuals is owing to their closing their shops in violation of the holiday regulations, you must determine the punishment at a level at which the issue of belief, and, in particular, efforts by their relatives to show themselves as being oppressed, will be done away with.
