National Development and Planning Organization and the Baha’is

A letter has been sent to members of some organizations that are affiliated with the National Development and Planning Organization, with the following content:

Mr. …,

According to Articles 2 to 8 of the National Employment Act, those employees whose immorality is obvious, or who pretend to have membership in those religions that are not recognized in the Constitution, must be dismissed from public service. Employees who were converted to the Baha’i sect are subject to the provisions of this article.

Since there is a rumour that you have become a Baha’i, you are being asked herewith to clarify whether this information is true and you confess to being Baha’i, or not. It is required that you explicitly make a statement in both cases, that an appropriate decision can be made.
