…Tehran – The Nabard-e-Mellat newspaper, during an interview with Mr. Safaei, the representative of Qazvin [to the National Consultative Assembly], asked him:

Q- Rumour has it that Baha’is have spent a sum of about thirty million rials to eventuate their evil intentions. Are you aware of this incident?

Mr. Safaei responded: “I am not informed of this incident in detail, but according to some evidence, Baha’is have used monies to eventuate their intentions, and through this, they took over some newspapers, such as Sahar and …newspapers, mobilizing them against the Muslims; the first one directly supports this sect and the second one …”
