Sadollah Babazadeh’s was born in Saysan.  His father was a Muslim and his step-mother, who raised him, was a Baha’i.  When he was 11 years old his family moved to Tehran.  In 1963 he married, and in 1968 he and his family moved to Khaniabad.  He was a member of the Local Spiritual Assembly[1] of Khaniabad.

On 25 October 1981, he was arrested and held at the Central Komiteh of Khaniabad in a dark damp cell, together with fellow Baha’i and friend Nasrollah Amini.  The following day both men were released and requested to present themselves at the Komiteh the next morning, which they did.  It was not until three weeks later that their families discovered they were being imprisoned at Evin prison.  On 16 May 1982, they were executed by hanging.  Their bodies were not returned to their families; It is believed they were buried in the Khaniabad infidel’s cemetery by the authorities.
