The directorate of Melli Bank of Iran,
Based on a report received from the police force in Gorgan, the head of the branch of the Melli Bank, Mr. Nabili, is a follower of the Baha’i religion and has been propagating and openly adhering to his faith. Given that, in accordance with circular number 744, dated 13/4/1323 [4 July 1944] of the Prime Ministry, propaganda against official religions in the country is strictly prohibited, as it is a cause of disunity, and could, moreover, attract danger towards the individual in Gorgan, we request that you order an urgent summons and transfer him to a different location.
