Respected director of the public court in Kiasar,

Respectfully, we would like to inform you that we, the Baha’i farmers of Ivel, in order to collect our crops as in the previous years, have to live in this area for a few days, but, unfortunately, we are not safe. In view of the fact that we have been guaranteed safety by the authorities every year, we request that you arrange for our protection by the police in Poshtkuh, so that we will be able to gather our harvest.

With respect,

The Baha’i farmers in Ivel

[Signature of the Baha’i farmers]

In the name of God,

This will be forwarded to the respected police chief of Poshtkuh, so that he may be present in that place, and also efforts should be made to prevent the occurrence of any crime.

Justice of the peace for [illegible] and Chahardangeh (Kiasar),
