Subject of Istifta [Seeking Advice]: Beliefs > Is it permissible to kill a sorcerer or to kill a Baha’i who denies the [Islamic] Resurrection, should there be no restriction?
Question: Is it permissible, to kill a sorcerer (spellbinder) who creates conflict and division amongst the people, and to kill a Baha’is who denies the Resurrection, if there is no restriction?
Answer: In the name of God: it is not permissible to kill a sorcerer, and whoever denies the Resurrection is an apostate, but killing him is not permissible by ordinary individuals.
