They Will Not Conduct Any Activities

Chalus - On the 8th of Khordad 1334 [30 May 1955] a group of labourers, entrepreneurs, and businessmen in Chalus who are adherents of the Baha’i religion were summoned to the Governorate Office where Mr Sharafaddin, the Governor, counselled them about the illegality of this religion, and those present [the Baha’is] promised not to conduct any kind of [religious] activity under any circumstances.
