With mixed feelings of congratulations and sympathy on the occasion of your son’s martyrdom, your attention is hereby requested.

In case you have not received the two million rials compensation for your loss, and the martyr has left no spouse nor any children, you may present the following documents to the Office of Martyrs’ Affairs of the Ground Forces of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, located in Lashgar [Military Brigade] 21 Hamzeh, Lavizan, Tehran, or provide a bank account number in order for the above mentioned sum to be processed toward payment to the heirs who were under the martyr’s care.

  1. Two photocopies of the decree of heirship;
  2. Two photocopies of the death certificate of the martyr;
  3. Two photocopies of every page of the martyr’s birth certificate and of the heirs under his care.   
  4. In case any of the heirs is deceased, provide two photocopies of his/her cancelled birth identity booklet or two photocopies of the death certificate instead.
  5. If any of the heirs (father or mother) is not able for any reason to be present, a notarised power of attorney with birth certificates of the lawyer and the client must be available.
