Esteemed Head of Iran Civil Aviation Organization
It is with the utmost respect that, I, the undersigned, Nematollah Rezvani, resident of Gorgan, and ex-employee of the [Civil Aviation] Organization at Isfahan airport, submit to your attention that after 28 years and six months of honest and dedicated service, I retired in Farvardin 1355 [April 1976]. In 1362 [1983], my pension was terminated by the Organization without any court order, for mere reason that I am a Baha’i. I am now 75 years old, frail and unable to work. So far, I have managed my affairs with tremendous difficulties and by selling my belongings. I beg you to please instruct that my pension, which over the years was deducted from my salaries and held in pension fund, be paid to me so that I can live these final days of my life [in relative comfort], and to express my gratitude to that Organization for being fair and just.
Respectfully yours,
Nematollah Rezvani
