Musavi, at the end of his talk, pointed to the functions of the Ministry of Health. He said, “Dr. Monafi believes that there is no unqualified consultant in this ministry”. He gave some response that due to the words of other brothers, there was no further need [for him] to bring them up again, but if the claim of Mr. Nategh Nouri regarding the consultant of the Ministry of Health is incorrect, he must respond to his claim.

Regarding our brother, Colonel Salimi, it seems that a rumour has run around that he is a member of the anti-Baha’i society [Hojjatieh] and it is most probable that he will not get the necessary votes.

The colonel himself has said that he has had an emotional relationship with some members of that society, but he has never participated in their educational programmes.

Mousavi later pointed to some consultations he had held with Hojjatol Eslam Khamenei. He said that, in his opinion, the colonel is one of those officers who could be very efficient in the success of the Revolution...
