In Yesterday’s Public Session of the Islamic Consultative Assembly:

Government Presented the Bill for Establishment of Mobile Courts to the Assembly

Yesterday, the open session of the Islamic Consultative Assembly was convened by Mr. Mohammad Yazdi, the deputy speaker of the Assembly. After some verses of the Quran had been recited and the pre-order speech of two members [had taken place], a proposal and a bill were discussed. At the end, three bills, including the bill for the formation of the mobile courts, were presented to the Assembly.

Remarks of the member from [the City of] Mianeh

… The representative of Mianeh, in continuation of his speech, made some remarks about those who, sending letters of the clergy from the region, have threatened to kill the chief justice of Mianeh.

Addressing the Hojjatieh Society, he told them, “Behave yourselves. Do not disturb the servants, employees and the people. Do not interfere in the affairs of the city, avoid spreading rumours and provoking the uninformed people, and do not interfere in the work of the organs, especially the Bonyad-e Shahid [Martyrs Foundation]. You, your commitment and adherence, your level of interest and dedication and your mysterious activities are clearly known to the public. Why, if you are anti-Baha’i, have you not yet filed their cases in any organization or court…
