Mr. Prime Minister, copy to the minister of interior

Respectfully, we, the undersigned, farmers from the Village of Kesheh, Natanz, convey that, contrary to the desire and wishes of Ayatollah Imam Khomeini, the leader of the revolution, Ayatollah Shariatmadari and Ayatollah Taleghani—all of whom have repeatedly announced on the radio and in the media that the possessions, lives, and honour of all groups of people who live in Iran are protected and no one has the right to violate them—a few people, led by a certain individual named Emami, recently came to Kesheh from Isfahan and threatened to kill, pillage, and burn us because we are Baha’is. They even burned our Baha’i Centre and prevented us from farming. We beseech your respected authority to take immediate action so that we can continue our meagre farming.

Respectfully,
