Honourable Prime Minister
Afioga Tofilau Eti Alesana
Independent State of the Government of Western Samoa
Dear Prime Minister,
We respectfully seek your intervention in any appropriate manner to protest the recent atrocity levelled against the dead Baha'is of Iran.
While the Baha'i community of Iran continues to be deprived of its basic human rights in its homeland, the current indecent action against the bodies of Baha'is in the Baha'i cemetery of Teheran is beyond the comprehension of the civilized world.
The attached press release gives details of this deplorable and humiliating exhumation of the remains of our co-religionists.
Your protest to the Government of Iran, directly or indirectly, we pray, may bring some relief to the already persecuted Baha'is of that country.
With gratitude for your understanding,
NATIONAL SPIRITUAL ASSEMBLY
OF THE BAHA'IS OF SAMOA INC.
Mrs Galo Tuiletufuga Apelu
