Dear Sir,

Your letter dated September 26, 1983 was acknowledged with pleasure.

When the Islamic Republic was established in Iran, there were many rumours all around the world attempting to weaken its glorious success, one of which was the false information of the executions of the Baha'i people living in Iran.

As you may be well aware, they are not discriminated because of their religious belief. If such executions took place at all, they have been justly tried on the ground of their being spies of foreign hostile countries for which the government of Iran holds a valid proof.

You may not forget what happened in Viet Nam, what is happening in El Salvador, Lebanon, and recently in Grenada. All of these are the American aggressor's work. How can Mr. Reagan criticize and take the defense of the few spy people while he never tried to condemn the aggressions of the Iraqi regime who in cold blood has killed so many indiscriminated, innocent Iranian people.

In this Islamic Republic of Iran, all the citizens benefit from the equal right and we cannot afford to tolerate the criminals and traitors like Tudeh Party.  In Iran, just as it is in your country, those who serve for the country's grandeur and prosperity despite any religions, any race, any colour are respected and applauded.

Yours very truly,
