Statements of the Representatives of the Parliament - Preparation of a Three-Emergency [immediate 3] bill

The issue of our final pursuit and occupation of their propaganda centres in Tehran and other cities, and the agreement of public sentiment in this matter, and telegraphic and written requests received from all the cities and the general public, which are presented every day to His Excellency the Monarch, the government and the National Constitutional Assembly, have been discussed in all public gatherings. And since the occupation of the Hazirat’ul-Quds in Tehran, detailed telegrams of acknowledgment have been received thanking the military governorate and official authorities, and have been discussed among the members of the National Constitutional Assembly, and this should be recognized among all representatives as a legal plan, and their activities be prevented.

Private session of the Parliament

Before noon, the Parliament entered into a private session to discuss this plan. First, Seyyed Ahmad Safaie, the Qazvin representative to Parliament, stated that there exists a party or a special faith named Baha’i in the country, independently occupied in harmful activities, and their actions in the Islamic country are against the legal and religious principles…

The Presence of Ministers

The government was informed by telephone that Mr. Entezam, the deputy prime minister, the minister of the interior and the minister of finance had attended the meeting of Parliament.

Messrs. Seyyed Ahmad Safaie, Noureddin Emami, Dr. Jazayeri, Naraghi and Amidie Nouri Farazi each commented on the operations and actions of the Baha’is and explained that the Constitution stipulates that the official faith of Iran is the holy religion of Islam...

Statements by the deputy prime minister

Mr. Entezam, the deputy prime minister, stated... “I also fully agree with the representatives of all parties that the sect in question is a heretical sect that has been created in our country...”
