Telegraph- To Tehran - the National Consultative Assembly

Copy to the Prime Minister

Copy to His Holiness Ayatollah Behbahani

Following the previous telegraph, in relation to the eradication of the perverse Baha’i [sect], as we can perceive from the news, the respected members of the National Consultative Assembly, contrary [to what was expected] did not show any interest in the majestic declaration of His Holiness Ayatollah Boroujerdi concerning the extermination of this mysterious sect.  Accordingly, we, on behalf of the Muslims of Khorasan, and, in particular, the carpet dealers and businesses in the Sarshour Bazaar, [asked] our respected representatives to express interest in relation to this topic. If any person, as a member of [the National Consultative] Assembly, wishes to defend these “unclean elements”, that person is amongst the traitors to the sacred religion of Islam, the royal family, and the exalted spiritual clergy, and has to pay for his betrayal.

A Telegraph to the Imperial Court of the His Majesty Shah

Since the government has started to dismiss members of the perverse and mysterious Baha’i sect, according to the blessed orders of Your Excellency, from all government departments and public offices,  we now request the Father [of the nation], to issue decisive orders that the government continue with its actions and eradicate them.

Qom- To His Holiness, Supreme Ayatollah Boroujerdi

All Muslims, and in particular, the carpet dealers and businesses in the Sarshour Bazaar in Mashahd, express our support in relation to your decrees, and we hope that because of your holy words, the wickedness of the perverse Baha’i sect will be eradicated as soon as possible. May God prolong and protect all Muslim people under the shadow of your authority.
