One active member of Baha’ism was executed in Shiraz
As per the judgement of the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Justice of Shiraz and the approval of the Supreme Court of Justice, Hedayatollah Siyavushi, son of Foroud, was sentenced to death and confiscation of all his properties. The issued court order was carried out on Sunday afternoon in Shiraz.
The Public Relations Bureau of the Islamic Revolutionary Magistrate’s Office of Shiraz has announced the crimes committed by the mentioned individual as [being a] member of the central structure of Baha’ism, actively propagating his belief, opposition to Islam and using anything in his power to go against the authorities of the Islamic Republic.
He was a long-time member of the Baha’i Committee [Assembly], participated at the International Baha’i Congresses, and was active for ten years in Bakhtaran. He had recently put his house at the disposition of the Baha’is for dissemination of reports, archive documents and records.
