The U.S. uses Baha’ism again for its anti-Iranian propaganda

The Kayhan-e Havaei News Service - 5 Khordad, 26 May - Following the recent statement of the U.S. Secretary of State, based on the [premise] that Iran is a serious barrier for Washington’s intrusive plans in the Persian Gulf and the Middle East, the U.S. External Affairs Committee of the House of Representative issued a harsh  resolution against the Islamic Republic, under the cover of support for Bahaism.

In this resolution, the White House, which has again accused Iran of human rights violations, threatens that the Islamic Republic will face consequences in its relations with the West should Iran not change its ways.

In this resolution the American Congress has clearly emphasized that while Iran attempts to improve its relationship with the West, the U.S. will consider Iran’s human rights actions, especially its treatment of the Baha’i community and other religious minorities, as an important factor in improvement of its relations with the Islamic Republic. More than eighty of the U.S. congressmen have approved of the resolution that Wayne Owner [Owens], Utah’s Democratic Party representative and Benjamin Hillman [Gilman], New York’s Republican Party Representative, have devised and submitted to the House of Representatives. Earlier this year, one of the members of the sect of the Baha’is in America, by the name of Sirous Kazemzadeh [Firouz Kazemzadeh], [commenting on] this resolution, said, “The last four U.S. resolutions have been very effective in encouraging Iran to consider the human rights of the Baha’is.” In this resolution, Bush was asked to put Iran under pressure, by using the leverage of human rights, to give freedom of action to the Baha’i sect.

It should be mentioned that the leaders of the perverse Baha’i sect have a close relationship with the Zionist regime and the sources of power in the West, and since the victory of the Islamic Revolution, many documents have been obtained, suggesting the affiliation of this sect with the outside and their anti-Iranian spy operations; many of them have been arrested while committing the crime, and they have admitted to their crimes in a court of law.

The watchful observers believe that since the confessions of James Baker in the U.S. Congress about the undeniable influence of the Islamic Revolution on the Middle Eastern countries and the Persian Gulf, Washington has been making new efforts through cooperation with Baha’is, in order to create confusion for the world about Iran.
