Declaration of the Employees of the Ministry of Arts and Culture About the Name of the Book Censors in Iran

The employees of the Ministry of Arts and Culture, by issuing a declaration, disclosed the censorship of the work of the intellectuals and libertarians [free thinkers]. They declared that the Ministry of Arts and Culture, in collaboration with the agents whose names have been revealed in this declaration, has for years been an effective and crucial instrument in stifling and dismembering the thoughts and works of the country’s intellectuals through unfailing censorship. It has not only debarred cultural enrichment by suppressing the publication of many books, but by its unlawful acts has squandered the wealth and investment of many publishers. Employees of the Ministry of Arts and Culture, in another section of their declaration, have stated:

…43 - Doctor Zekrollah Sabetian, 44 - Ebadolmomtaz Misaghi (member of the outcast Baha’i sect and SAVAK agent in religious affairs).
