Sim-i-Akhir! ([A] Point)
... And yet, one of the most recent and unfortunate examples is the recent remark of Mrs. Jamileh Kadivar in Arak. She, who serves as Karroubi’s adviser on women’s affairs at the election headquarters, referred, during her campaign trip to Arak, to the Zionist Baha’i Party as “citizens of Iran”.
“Baha’is, as citizens of Iran, have rights that should be respected,” she said. “Let the government respect these rights and recognize them!”
There is no expectation from Mrs. Kadivar, and this note is not directed to her, but is Mr. Karroubi unaware of the true identity of Baha’ism, which is not a sect but a political party affiliated with the Zionists? Have thousands of published documents and hundreds of events, revealed about the nature of this party as the fifth pillar of Israel and its espionage and terrorist activities, been hidden from Mr. Karroubi? It is certainly not possible to believe that Mr. Karroubi, as a cleric with a history of Islamic struggles, is unaware of the party’s identity; so, what is the motive of those around him who speak of the necessity of fulfilling the dream of Israel and the United States that has remained on the ground for decades―that is, the recognition of this Zionist and terrorist party?! Mrs. Rahnavard [one of] Mr. Mousavi’s staff, recalls Shirin Ebadi as an educated woman [who has] a dark and declared record of being with the Monafeghin and Baha’ism! Mrs. Kadivar, from Mr. Karroubi’s staff, emphasizes the need for this party to be officialized, and ... is all this coincidental and accidental?! Or [is it] that, God forbid―and of course most likely without the knowledge of the mentioned candidates―there are promises and deceptions?!
Kayhan has so far exposed the Zionist identity and the real role of the Baha’i party as the fifth pillar of Israel and a terrorist group by presenting many undeniable documents, and in the future will address other aspects of its nature. But are not these gentlemen candidates of the reformist front, lavishly speaking from being of the line of the late Imam [Imam Khomeini]?! Therefore, we refer to only three examples from Imam Khomeini’s blessed point of view in this regard. The late imam, in 1341 , referring to the danger of this Zionist Party, said, “The Holy Qur’an and Islam are in danger; the independence of the country and its economy are in the hands of the Zionists, who have appeared in Iran as a Baha’i party...”
Before the victory of the Islamic Revolution―7 Dey 1357 [28 December 1978]―in an interview with foreign journalists in Neauphle-le-Chateau, in response to the question, “Are there political and religious freedoms for Baha’is in the next government?” he answered, “Freedom will not be given to people who are harmful to the country.” The reporter asked, “Will they be given freedoms for their religious ceremonies?” And the imam explicitly and decisively said “no”.
After the victory of the revolution and during the arrest of a number of members of this Zionist Party, that honourable man [Imam Khomeini] addressed the officials by saying, “Baha’ism is not a religion; it is a party, a party that was previously supported by Britain and now is being supported by the United States. They are spies” and...
