Consequences of the Separation of Religion from Politics

Here we intend to investigate the result of the separation of the two connected elements of religion and politics, and see that this evil scheme (separation and distance between religion and politics) which the enemy has studied over the years and propagated (in the two dimensions of thought and action), and to find out what kind of unpleasant consequences have resulted for the Islamic community, and particularly for the Islamic theological schools and the clergy.

It is [by being persuaded] of this separation and unawareness of reality that their thinking and methods of action have become distorted and deviant, and have found thoughts such as condemnation of the establishment of the Islamic government before the appearance of His Holiness Mehdi “peace be upon Him”. As a result, to satisfy their own consciences, they engaged in fighting Baha’ism, or even other issues of secondary or lesser importance.  By imagining the need for self-construction, they have neglected the fight against injustice and tyranny, and have distanced themselves from the most important matters of human life.

Thus, they oppose the education, social activities and participation of women in women’s demonstrations. Or, as they find it difficult to confront tyrants and criminals, they accept the authority of the tyrannical governments…
