And……Once Again, the Main Issue.

Our good brothers in the Jomhouri Eslami [newspaper] have noted some issues with regard to the speech of His Holiness, Ayatollah Jannati on the subject of the Anti-Bahaism Society, which has been published by two newspapers—Ettelaat and Kayhan. They have commented under the pretext that these matters are not fundamental. In confirmation of this issue, and explanation of the fact that raising these various social issues is not contrary to fundamental knowledge of the war and combating imperialism, some articles were published in Kayhan that, unfortunately caused the resentment of our brothers in Jomhouri Eslami Newspaper, and they wrote another article about that issue…

…Today, it is not the potential enemy who has us under attack; rather it is the undercover ones who attempt to exert influence in every corner of our system to harm us. Amongst them are those who don the disguise of religion and enter the deadliest blow on our Islamic Revolution.  More interesting is that they complain that Kayhan [does] not take strong actions against the Baha’is. This is when the Islamic Revolution has entered the harshest blows against imperialism and Zionism, which have been taking advantage of Bahaism in their policies to put pressure on us.

Kayhan has always tried to keep the anti-American, anti-Zionist campaign on high. And bringing up the issue of why we do not attack Bahaism at this stage, is quite questionable…
