The property of seventy-six corrupt individuals, [equivalent to] an amount of 10 billion rials, was confiscated by the national prosecutor general.

During the past two weeks, the moveable and immovable assets of seventy-six corrupt individuals, those associated with the imperial regime and the perverse [Baha’i] sect, were confiscated by the Prosecutor General’s Office.

According to the report of the Public Relations Office of the Prosecutor General, most of the mentioned individuals fled abroad before or after the triumph of the Islamic Revolution, and during their flight, took out much of the total wealth in foreign currency.

This report indicates that the total value of the confiscated properties, which consist of residential and commercial buildings, farms, lands, capital and other goods, reaches the amount of 10 billion rials.
