U.S. Senate and Simultaneous Support for Baha’is and Mojahedin

The U.S. Senate, in support of Baha’is and Mojahedin, only thinks about serving the interests of the United States [of America] and raising the issue of human rights is just a propaganda cover for putting pressure on the Islamic Republic, and that’s it.

A few days ago, the Senate of the United States of America passed a resolution defending the rights of the Baha’is of Iran as the country’s largest religious minority, and it calls on the U.S. government to postpone the “establishment of relations between the United States government and the government of Iran” to “improve of the Islamic Republic’s performance on the treatment of Baha’is.”  This happens at a time when the U.S. House of Representatives is considering a similar resolution.

In this regard, we will make points that pay attention to ... clarifying the nature of such actions of the Westerners ...

2- The situation of minority rights in Iran ... is one of the cases that are fueled in order to put pressure on the Islamic Republic. Otherwise, the comparison of the situation of religious minorities in Iran and Western countries shows well that, despite the claims of Westerners, the religious minorities in Iran have better conditions. In the constitution of the Islamic Republic… the religious minorities …. are declared free to perform their religious ceremonies and teach their own language and beliefs, as well as to have schools and temples.

3- The Islamic Republic … does not recognize the perverted Baha’i sect as a religious minority. …This current is not a religious sect or a particular conception of Islam. But it is actually a political party and a current that took on a religious colour in accordance with its specific circumstances and was introduced to the world as a religious sect. …

The Islamic Republic’s attitude towards Baha’is is; largely subordinated to [Baha’is] practices since they act as tools of arrogant domination all over the world, paving the way for the domination of the superpowers, especially the United States, by amassing great wealth and using their political power and that of their global backers; and not merely a function of their so-called religious beliefs.

The aggressive actions of the Islamic Republic… against the Baha’is also arise from their dependence on Israel and the United States and their espionage for these countries…

4- The same support of the U.S. Senate and international Zionism is sufficient to prove the Baha’is’ political and organizational affiliation with the United States and Israel since…. Westerners do not raise humanitarian slogans for the sake of human rights… they rather do so only when their interests demand it… Their support for the Baha’is is not without any expectation, and …. the Baha’is are the instruments of the Westerners, and the Westerners pursue their own interests in raising the issue [in support] of the Baha’is of Iran.

5- Interestingly, the US. Congress and Senate, at the same time that they support Baha’is, also support groups such as the Mojahedin, which, in itself indicates the equal role of these two currents in securing the interests of the Americans…. The American Congress…has issued a resolution calling on the Iranian government to respect the rights of Baha’is… The Mojahedin at this time play exactly the same role as the Baha’is and have taken on the similar tasks... According to the Americans, the information about Iran that is provided to this country through the Mojahedin is more accurate than the information that they receive through the US. State Department.

The final point is that ...Western countries tried to increase the propaganda pressure on us by raising the issue of human rights in Iran, and they even bring this issue to the UN General Assembly … that have taken advantage of the Mojahedin and the Baha’is ...
