The Prime Minister At the End of Yesterday’s Cabinet Meeting:

The Interests of the Islamic Republic of Iran Will Not Be Judged by Organizations Such as Amnesty International, which is Affiliated With Zionism.

News Section: Yesterday morning, the Cabinet of the Islamic Republic of Iran met under the chairmanship of Mr. Mir Hossein Mousavi, the prime minister, and reviewed the latest developments and events in the region and the world.

According to our correspondent, the prime minister first told the reporters about the issues raised in this meeting: “The Cabinet has examined the issue of the governorship of West Azerbaijan and in this regard unanimously voted for Mr. Zeinol-Abedin Miryousefi Atai, who had a very clear and strong performance in the provinces of West Azerbaijan and Ilam, and its verdict will be announced.”

Regarding the nature and function of the Human Rights Committee and the international organization, the prime minister said, “Elements of international Zionism are involved in these organizations and they are carrying out large-scale activities against us, in a situation where we are preparing a large-scale operation, and Unity Week was established in our country.”

The prime minister added, “The unfair stances of international organizations that claim to defend human rights―but in fact, support the Zionist and espionage sects―cannot have any impact on the policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran. As Imam Khomeini said, the sources of news and documents that such organizations rely on to obtain news are composed of opponents of the government, Munafeghin [People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran],  monarchists and murderous terrorists, and all these actions are used to put pressure on the Islamic Republic. The prime minister added, “While the crimes of the United States, France and other superpowers in the world are ignored, and the rights of Muslims in the south of France are violated, and the freedom fighters of the world are crushed under their bloody boots, why, in such conditions, should a country that is fighting against the United States and imperialism become the centre of attention and this issue be disclosed?”

The prime minister said, “It is clear that these conflicts are due to the anti-racist, anti-Zionist and anti-imperialist policies of the Islamic Revolution, and it is natural for the government to be based on the lofty aspirations of the people and the leadership of the imam, and to ignore these judgments.” The prime minister added, “The policy of the government is to suppress any movement that intends to overthrow the system, and we will not expose the interests of the Islamic Republic to such judgments.

“We have nothing to hide from the world,” the prime minister said, stressing the need to show the evil nature of the hands behind the international organizations striking at the Islamic Revolution. “And we will not show the slightest softness. At the same time, we will clarify the situation of these organizations for the nations of the Third World and the Islamic world. It must be clear to the community of one billion Muslims  how these organizations support a political Zionist sect, which has been plotting, conspiring and spying for foreign countries for the last 150 years, especially Britain and Israel, but we will oppose any such move.”

“And such issues show the despair of the enemies of the revolution about defeating the Islamic Republic in economic and military fields. The purpose of making the revolution look bad is to create a kind of pessimism towards the revolution to prevent the spread of the Islamic Revolution amongst the meek and oppressed Muslim nations.”

At the end of his speech, he said, “It is necessary for the mass media and government agencies to expose the nature of the opponents of the revolution; how they have been dragged into moral corruption, murder and blind assassinations and turned into a tool for the superpowers. Islam can neutralize their policies, in which case the world’s public opinion should be addressed and the crimes of imperialism should be disclosed to them.”
