The Powers of the Revolutionary Courts Are Expanding

The five-day seminar of the revolutionary courts and tribunals ended its official work last Sunday.

This seminar, which had started last Tuesday with the speech of Ayatollah Dr. Beheshti, the chief justice of the country, held its last meetings on Sunday afternoon after five days of work and consecutive meetings …

According to our judicial correspondent, in the frequent sessions of the seminar on various topics, including the problems of the revolutionary courts... the need to determine the geographical scope of the work of each court, the need to determine the jurisdiction of each judge, the relationship between the courts and the Revolutionary Courts and the Revolutionary Guards in each region, the clearing of the military and state government offices...how to deal with the Baha’is and other deviant political groups...as well as many other issues, were discussed….
