The Al-Azhar Society of Egypt Demanded the Eradication of the Perverse Baha’i Sect

The Islamic Republic’s News Agency: In its published statements, the Al-Azhar Research Centre for Islamic Studies in Cairo published a manifesto in which it called the Baha’i faith an ideological plague and invited the Islamic world to fight against the followers of this perverse sect.

In its manifesto, the Research Centre declared the creation of the Baha’i sect by the colonial societies a declaration of war against Islam and Muslims, and demanded the eradication of the followers of this faith in the Islamic world.

This statement, which has been published in the Kuwaiti media, also indicates that the governing authorities of Islamic countries must execute God’s command in regards to the followers of Baha’ism and eliminate this perverse sect from Muslim countries.

The Research Centre for Islamic Studies declared that anyone who joins the Baha’i religion is considered an apostate and deserving of the execution of God’s command against him.

Al-Azhar’s invitation to fight against Baha’ism is owed to the growing influence of this group in economic, political and social spheres and the decision-making centres in Egypt under the shadow of Sadat and Hosni Mubarak’s annihilated regimes.
