The Danger of Baha’ism Lurking For the Students in Shiraz

The secretary of the Independent Islamic Association of Students of Shiraz University of Technology said, “Why does the supervisory board of Shiraz University of Technology not allow student organizations to hold an exhibition on critique of Baha’ism?”

According to Jahan News, Hamed Pahlavani told the Journalists Club, referring to the [fact that] Shiraz University of Technology officials [obstructed the holding of an] exhibition on Baha’ism, “Our people have been victims of the crimes of those who, in the past years, have tried to impose their corrupt ideas and thoughts by force and assassination, and have sacrificed thousands of martyrs to preserve their ideals.” …

He said, “Shiraz is the place of origin of the Baha’i sect.” Referring to the recent words of the British prime minister, who had called the Islamic Republic of Iran a sponsor of terrorism, the Islamic Association of Shiraz University of Technology, in cooperation with student organizations of Shiraz University and student Basij [mobilization] of Azad University of Shiraz, launched an exhibition entitled “Insight”, which was prevented from being set up.

He said, ”The Independent Islamic Association, in collaboration with the Habilian Association, has professionally investigated Monafeghin, Mojahedin, terrorist groups, Baha’ism and the Hojjatieh Society, and has prepared video exhibitions to critique and examine these issues.”

The secretary of the Independent Islamic Association of Students of Shiraz University of Technology, pointing out that [they had warned] the president of Shiraz University of Technology that danger was lurking for the students of this university, said, “Unfortunately, with the announcement of this alarm, the university took no action.”

Pahlavani concluded, “It is a question for us as to why the university supervisory board does not allow the student organizations to hold an exhibition on critique of Baha’ism”
