Intervention of the UN Special Rapporteur in Iran Affairs With the Support of the Leaders of Sedition

Addressing other issues, Jahangir again defended the perverse Baha’i sect, saying that they were still being attacked, discriminated against and deprived of their livelihood.

According to the Iranian University Students News, quoting Fars, Asma Jahangir, the UN special rapporteur on human rights in Iran, in a speech published by Radio Free Europe, this time defended the reformists and claimed, “Iranian reformists are under pressure; detainees are being tortured and abused. The execution rate is also alarming.”

Mrs. Jahangir went on to claim that websites were blocked, and Internet users, bloggers, and social media activists were intimidated and prosecuted.

Addressing other issues, Jahangir again defended the perverse Baha’i sect, saying that they were still being attacked, discriminated against and deprived of their livelihood.

In addition to defending the Baha’is, Asma Jahangir described herself as sympathetic to neo-Christians and Sufis.

She also claimed in an exclusive interview with Voice Of America that political prisoners are the second most important issue of human rights violations in Iran.
