Mohseni Eje’i: The case of Javad Larijani is under investigation and he is still responsible in the Judiciary

A spokesman for the Judiciary said in response to a reporter’s question, “Is it true that 26 people in the earthquake in Azerbaijan intended to [commit] sabotage and that it is said that these people were monafegh[i] [hypocrites] and Baha’is?”

He said, “Yes, this news is true. A number of people have been arrested, some of whom were released early and some of whom are in detention, and the fact that an individual is a Baha’i or has any other title is not a reason for arrest unless he or she has taken action. In the earthquake in Azerbaijan, these people intended to sabotage, but not all of them are in custody and some of them have been released, and the case of these people, [who number 20 or more], is in the preliminary investigation stage and in the Prosecutor’s Office.
