Workshop on Recognizing the Baha’i Sect in Jiroft
A workshop on recognizing the Baha’i sect was held [for] students of religious sciences in the seminaries of Jiroft with the presence of a visiting professor.
According to the public relations office of the Kerman Islamic Propaganda Organization, Khodadad Amini-Ravesh, the head of the Jiroft Islamic Propaganda Organization, while announcing this news, added, “In order to get more acquainted with the perverse Baha’i sect, a meeting was held with the presence of clerics, cultural figures and female students of Al-Zahra seminary in Jiroft at the conference hall of the Islamic Azad University with a speech by Hujjat’ul-Islam Ali-Reza Rouzbehani, deputy of sects and religions of Qom Seminary.”
In this meeting, while enumerating the goals and characteristics of the perverse Baha’i sect in the period before and after the Islamic Revolution, Hujjat’ul-Islam Rouzbehani said, “With the formation of the Islamic Republic, Baha’ism started its first attack on the sacred system of the Islamic Republic. Before the establishment of the Islamic system in Iran, the Iranian people considered Iran to be under the control of Baha’ism. The whole of Iran and the rulers of Iran hated the political, social, economic and cultural [aspects] of the Baha’i element, and this hatred and resentment was not limited to the religious class; everyone was upset about it.”
Ali-Reza Rouzbehani stated, “This sect was created by colonialism in Iran and the Baha’i movement has been active against the holy system of the Islamic Republic of Iran from the beginning until now, and has stood up to the people.” He pointed out that the issues of Baha’ism should be considered with more interaction and attention.
This meeting was held on Wednesday, 18 Khordad [June 8], in the assembly hall of Azad University.
