Holding a Teacher Training Course on “Baha’i Critique” at the Isfahan Propaganda Office

Political and social group – The Isfahan Islamic Propaganda Office is holding the first Baha’i critique teacher training course with the participation of 30 scholars.

According to the Isfahan branch of the Quran News Agency (IQNA), Abdol-Majid Khatib, the head of the Education Department, Isfahan Office, said in a speech, “After holding three Baha’i sect critique courses with the presence of more than 500 seminary students and brother preachers, the call was made for registration of interested people in the specialized Baha’i critique teacher training course.”

He stated, “During the entrance exam and interview, out of 150 people, 30 people are being trained as scholars in this course.”

Khatib added, “This training course will continue until the end of Khordad 1390 [June 2011] and the participants will benefit from educated lecturers such as Hojatoleslam Rouzbahani.

The head of the Education Department in Isfahan stated that the purpose of holding such courses was to acquaint seminary students with emerging schools and to prepare and empower missionaries to respond, research, and debate the subject of the Baha’i sect.

He said, “Considering the vulnerability of young people and their unfamiliarity with such sects, the need to familiarize talented seminary students with these false sects is on the agenda of the deputy minister of education and aims to fill the gap by training teachers on Baha’i critique.
