Nasim Bagheri, a Lecturer at the Virtual University, Was Arrested to Serve Her Sentence
HRANA– This morning, the Ministry of Intelligence agents arrested Nasim Bagheri, a lecturer at the Baha’i [Institute for Higher Education].
According to HRANA reporters, the news organ of the human rights activists in Iran, at around 7:00 on Sunday morning, 7 Ordibehesht [27 April], four Ministry of Intelligence agents with a search warrant searched the house of Nasim Bagheri, a Baha’i citizen living in Tehran, and she was arrested to carry out her sentence.
It is noteworthy that Nasim Bagheri had been sentenced by the Revolutionary Court of Tehran to four years in prison on charges of propaganda against the regime and acting against the security of the country through membership in an illegal organization. The illegal organization means the Baha'i Virtual University of Iran [sic], which is responsible for teaching Baha’i students denied an education.
