We enclose herewith a copy of Memorandum number 1/34/16569 - 12 Dey 1378 [2 January 2000], issued by the deputy of the Judiciary and the head of the National Deeds and Property Registration Office regarding the annulment of Clause 41 of the “Registration Memoranda”. Please order the offices under your jurisdiction to take action to record the marriage in the documents and birth certificates of couples if they provide an official declaration of their marriage, even when it does not list the couple’s religion.
