Europe’s Claim About the Baha’is is Baseless.

The first vice chief justice stated that the Baha’is were being tried solely for espionage and [having] links to the occupying Zionist regime. He said, “The European Union’s claim about the violation of the rights of the Baha’is in Iran is baseless.”

Goftar News – In response to a Tasnim reporter, outside the meeting of the general and provincial directors of the Organization for the Registration of Deeds and Property, regarding the European Parliament’s claim that the rights of Baha’is in Iran are violated, Hojatoleslam Raiesi said, “We do not consider the Baha’i sect as a religion, and the current of Baha’ism is, in reality, a British handiwork that has gone down in history and cannot be denied.”

He added, “These people were tried for espionage and connection with the usurping Zionist regime, and if they were tried, it was not [for their] Baha’ism, but [for] espionage, and the excuse that the European Union puts forward today regarding human rights is baseless.”

Raiesi reiterated, “We argue against the human rights debate, but unfortunately there is no fair international court in the world that is not under the auspices of the domination system.”

He said, “Our officials at various levels are recounting the issues, but in the absence of a fair international court, where do you think these statements should be addressed? We hope that all the groups will reach a level where the countries that are acting as oppressors will be controlled and tried.” ....
