Friday Prayer Leader of Miandoab:

Meeting the Baha’is Is a Hypocritical Move

Criticizing the meeting of some people with the Baha’is, the Friday prayer leader of Miandoab said, “Meeting with the Baha’is is a hypocritical and condemnable move.”

Hojatoleslam Hamid Hasanzadeh, the Friday prayer leader of Miandoab, in an interview with a reporter of Rasa News Agency in Urmia, in response to the meeting of some people with the Baha’is, said, “Baha’ism is the enemy of Islam and meeting [with] the Baha’i leaders is condemnable and hypocritical and it should be dealt with.”

Stating that even those close to these people have criticized the meeting with the Baha’is, he added, “God damn these people who by meeting the Baha’is are scorning at the blood of [our] martyrs, their self-sacrifice and the resistance of [our] Islamic warriors against the enemies.”

The Friday prayer leader of Miandoab, emphasizing the need for proper cultural planning to deal with the cultural war of the enemies, along with military upgrades and security developments, said, “We must, through the prosperity of religious groups, Quranic circles and assemblies, and entering the field of communication, deal with the cultural war of the enemies, in order to thwart the plans of the enemies in this area as well.”
