Rafsanjan Friday Prayer Leader:

Baha’ism Debate is a Topic of the Day And Should Be Addressed

The Friday prayer leader of Rafsanjan [stated] that the spread of Baha’ism in Rafsanjan is due to the lack of proper information. He said, “Jews have been present in our city for a long time and sometimes they have done political work and helped Israel financially....”

Blaming the spread of Baha’ism in Rafsanjan on the lack of proper information, he said, “Jews have been present in our city for a long time, and sometimes they have done political work and sent income to help Israel.”

Hojatoleslam Ramezanipour called the Baha’i principles worse than those of the Jews. He said, “The issue of Baha’ism is a topic of the day and should be addressed, because [it is] a political sect and [its] origin is Shaykhism.”

The Friday prayer leader of Rafsanjan pointed to the emergence of Baha’ism in the continuation of the path of Shaykhism and its baseless and anti-Islamic beliefs, and added, “In this regard, some followers of this sect appeared who carried out some activities.”

Pointing out that the Baha’is are inherently impure, and that according to the religious decrees of the authorities, any interaction with them is forbidden, he said, “If, in the past, our hands were open according to the law and they were confronted according to the rules of Islam, they would not have spread like this now, and they would not present Baha’ism as a religion.

Pointing to the contradictory activities of the Baha’is, Hojatoleslam Abbas Ramezanipour said, “This group has become so courageous that they have given themselves a place, and even taken a large plot of land to build a cemetery, which was wisely taken back by the esteemed mayor.”
