Jiroft Friday Prayer Leader’s Remark About the Negligence of the Authorities Towards the Activities of the Baha’is

On Monday evening, according to Ferghe News, Hojjatol-Islam Reza Karamipour, in a meeting of the General Culture Council of the south of Kerman Province, said, “All our officials should have religious concerns; why would our judiciary be busier during Ramadan?” ...

Karamipour pointed out, “We should not ignore some issues indifferently; regrettably, the officials in various fields have become very indifferent, and, in reality, if we want to ignore and [deal with] some issues indifferently, the matter becomes very critical, and cultural triviality increases....

The head of the South Kerman General Cultural Council reminded the reporter, “The Intelligence Office should work harder on the matter of Baha’ism and that of inadequate [wearing of the] hijab in Jiroft, and identify some people related to this matter.
