Ministry of the Interior,

To follow up on document number 1714/1941, [dated] 19 Farvardin 1323 [8 April 1944], I respectfully wish to inform you herewith that according to the report from the police headquarters of Qom, the cases of Rahmatian and Misaghian have been referred to the Office of the Prosecutor of Qom. Yet, on behalf of the group supporting religion—whose source and origin are the clergy, preachers and others— some papers have been published and distributed in Qom demanding the deportation of the Baha’is from Qom. A copy of one of the declarations is enclosed. It is requested that you inform this office of the decision taken.

Acting Manager of the National Police,
