The United Nations Reaffirms its Support for the Perverse Baha’i Sect and its Leaders
The UN Commission on Human Rights and Ahmad Shahid, the UN special representative for human rights in Iran, in support of the perverse Baha’i sect and its leaders, accused the Iranian government of continuing to carry out harsh verbal attacks against Baha’is.
According to the Fars News Agency International Group, the UN Commission on Human Rights today (Wednesday) issued a statement accusing Iranian religious, judicial and political officials of verbal and hateful attacks on Baha’is, claiming that this approach shows the intolerance for the Baha’i community, that it can encourage incitement to discrimination and violence against Baha’is by others.
According to the website of Radio Free Europe [Radio Liberty (RFE / RL)], Ahmad Shahid, the UN special representative for human rights in Iran, said that there is ongoing and organized harassment of Baha’is by the Iranian government in violation of its legal obligations on the international level.
Heiner Bielefeld, the UN special rapporteur on freedom of religion, said, “The rise of hostile rhetoric has put the Baha’i community in Iran in a dangerous abyss and their very existence is under threat.”
