The Splendid 200th Anniversary of the Birth of Baha’ism, a Bait For Attraction

According to the Fars News Agency from Tabriz, this morning, Ali Mousavinejad, at the Baha’i conference called “200 years of Violence, Betrayal and Sectarian Superstition”, organized by the Islamic Propaganda office of East Azerbaijan, stated, “For 200 years, we have faced a current which has imposed a cost of enormous magnitude on the country of Iran.”

He added, “In the first step, our main task is to explain the principles of religion, and if we answer the doubts, it has a defensive aspect.”

The university lecturer stated that when an attack has been hurled at us and suspicions are raised, one must defend. He continued, “It is not correct to spend all the funds on confrontation, but there has recently been ample propaganda for Ali Muhammad’s 200th birthday. If the society is unaware of that, it can easily be deceived by these glamorous advertisements.”

Emphasizing that there is a current that wants to introduce Ali Muhammad as a progressive and reformer, this researcher added, “The position of the government and the clergy has always been defensive, and Babism has always been aggressive; it has looted the surrounding villages and killed many people, the documents of which are available in books on Baha’ism.”

He said, “The Baha’is have changed and distorted their history nearly five times.”

Referring to the violence in Baha’ism, Mousavinejad continued, “The first book written by Ali Muhammad is supposed to have contained the interpretation of the verses of the Quran, while it has nothing to do with interpretation and with the Holy Quran.”

He said, “Extensive propaganda for the 200th anniversary of Baha’ism, and the production of a film about what a rarity has been born is unacceptable because their history is full of betrayal, violence and superstition.”
