At Central Islamic Revolutionary Court: Trial of Farrokhrou Parsa…began

The first branch of the Central Islamic Revolutionary Court began the trial of Farrokhrou Parsa, the former minister of education in Hoveyda’s cabinet. 

…The special prosecutor read the charges of indictment issued by the central office of the prosecutor of the Islamic Revolution and asked the Islamic Court to apply punishment and confiscation of her properties.

… [According to the prosecutor, many complaints were filed against Dr. Farrokhrou Parsa, among them]

… at a meeting on 13 Dei 1350 [3 January 1972] employees of the Iran Novin Party unanimously voted Mrs. Farrokhrou Parsa, the minister of education, unfit and made claims that she had destroyed the country’s education system.  Also, according to the dissolved SAVAK, a group of People’s Party members at one of their weekly meetings said that Farrokhrou Parsa had taken advantage of her position.
