I Do Not Regret My Meeting With a Senior Member of Baha’ism; She Is My Friend / I Did Not Do Anything Wrong

Faezeh Hashemi Rafsanjani, daughter of the chairman of the Expediency Discernment Council, said, “I do not regret meeting with a senior member of the Baha’is.”

According to Tasnim News Agency, Faezeh Hashemi Rafsanjani, daughter of Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, chairman of the Expediency Discernment Council, referring to [her] meeting with a senior member of the perverse Baha’i sect, has said, “I have done nothing wrong, I do not regret it, and those who attack [me] regarding this are not concerned about religion.”

The daughter of Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, chairman of the Expediency Discernment Council, told Euronews that she met Fariba Kamalabadi (a senior member of the perverse Baha’i sect in Iran) in Evin Prison and said, “I went to see Mrs. Kamalabadi because she was my co-prisoner, and we lived together for six months. After eight years she has come for five days’ leave; this visit is very normal and is an insignificant matter.”

In this interview, Faezeh Hashemi Rafsanjani also described Fariba Kamalabadi, a senior member of the Baha’i sect, as her friend, saying, “One goes to see one’s friend, and that was the point, and there was nothing else.”

The daughter of the chairman of the Expediency Discernment Council, referring to the treatment of members of this perverse sect, said strange things. In support of Baha’ism, she said, “…I do not think it would make any difference to the [Baha’is], and they may not even mind being mentioned prominently. My [concern about] the Baha’is is the issue of human rights. It is not right for us as a religion to discriminate in this way.”

Today, Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, chairman of the Expediency Discernment Council, told the Jomhury-e Eslami Newspaper, “Faezeh has made a bad mistake and must correct it. The perverse Baha’i sect is a perverse colonial sect that has always been known for its deviation, and we always seek to rid ourselves of this sect.”

But on the other hand, an hour after the publication of a part of Mr. Hashemi Rafsanjani’s interview, his daughter Faezeh Hashemi Rafsanjani, not only did not distance herself from this perverse sect and did not correct her actions, but in strange remarks, [said that she] considered the members of this sect oppressed!!

Reaffirming her action in a meeting with a senior member of the Baha’i sect, she has said, “I have not done anything wrong to hide or worry. They asked, ‘Shall we take a picture?’ I said, ‘Let us take it, what’s wrong?’ I have not done anything wrong and I am not used to hiding. Our family is like that, and many believe that the troubles that we go through and the price we pay are because of our honesty and simplicity; we cannot lie and pretend otherwise. Even now I do not regret it.”
