Publication from the Times [of London] Regarding the Days of Mourning

On behalf of its reporter in Tehran, the Times of London, in its 30 August [1955] issue, writes …

“The security officers were mobilized everywhere [especially in Tehran and Qom as stated in the first part of the news] to prevent adverse events; and Mr. Falsafi, the preacher, who had incited people against the Baha’is a while ago, was not given permission to speak on the radio. The Times reporter added that it deduced from the evidence that the government had succeeded in preventing the interference of the irresponsible circles in the political affairs. …”
